This is a small cemetery and is now rarely used for burials, so receives little disturbance. The grassland sward between and around the gravestones has been classified as neutral as it is more diverse than the average amenity grassland community. Common grasses present include smooth-stalked meadow grass (Poa pratensis), cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata), red fescue (Festuca rubra) and meadow foxtail (Alopecurus pratensis). A good variety of common grassland wild flowers are also present, including oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare), bird's-foot-trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), cat's-ear (Hypochaeris radicata), spotted medick (Medicago arabica), lady's bedstraw (Galium verum) and cuckooflower (Cardamine pratensis). Common dog-violet (Viola riviniana) and yellow corydalis (Pseudofumaria lutea) occur in shady areas against walls and gravestones. Several species of fern grow on the boundary walls. Brown sedge (Carex disticha), which is scarce in London, has also been found here. The site provides good habitat for invertebrates and common birds.
