As one of Barnet’s ‘Premier parks’, this triangular green space is part of an ancient woodland, consisting of some fine oaks and hornbeam. The Friends of Cherry Tree Wood have been very active at this site and in gaining funding to renovate the play area.The park is an important ‘cut through’ to the East Finchley Underground station. The site is also a Local Nature Reserve (LNR).
