An important site for nature conservation due to its ponds and open, rolling grassland. The park has many trees and is popular due to the dipping platform at the pond side, allowing access right down to the largest pond edge. Well known for its large amount and variety of fish ‘dumped’ in there by locals and the huge 70+ flock of Canada geese that come and go!
