Camden Gardens
Borough: Camden
Space type: Formal garden
Area: 0.23 ha
Address: Camden Street, NW1 0JR

This park, more than any other in the Borough, demonstrates the pressures of the urban environment on green space. As well as being surrounded on all sides by busy roads, this small garden actually has a railway line running right through the middle of it. The line is 30 feet up in the air on a brick viaduct-style bridge, which gives the gardens a unique character. A little green oasis between Camden and Kentish Towns.
