A large triangular open space running alongside the London Road in Mitcham, Figge’s Marsh is a flat grassed space with avenues of trees at its boundaries. The space has large areas of grass for team games, an outdoor gym, three table tennis tables, and a mile long walking/running path that loops around the space. An active friends’ group has added flower and shrub beds as well as making significant improvements to the park boundaries by adding an 800m privet hedge and additional trees, including two copses of native trees along the boundary with Streatham Road
