The Sports Garden is valued by the local community as a rare outdoor space providing much-needed access to physical activity, sport, and leisure pursuits. The Garden is a hard surfaced space with an astroturf football pitch, sand court (for volleyball, touch rugby, beach football, ultimate frisbee), basketball hoop, table tennis tables, patball wall and seating for those who just want to sit and enjoy the scenery. Access to the Garden, table tennis tables and the patball wall are free, pitches (and the whole space) can be booked through Bankside Open Spaces Trust
