This site is dominated by the large ornamental Boxer’s Lake, to the northeast of which is the woodland. Included here are sections of the inflow and outflow streams to the lake, which also has a small wooded island.

Wildlife
The margins of Boxer's Lake are overhung with willow and alder trees. Below these grow yellow flag iris, water mint and the locally uncommon water dock. Beside the inflow and outflow streams grow stands of reed sweet-grass. The woodland tree canopy is dominated by pedunculate oak, with ash, hornbeam, hawthorns and blackthorn. At ground-level, plants include bramble, common nettle, ivy, pendulous sedge and the graceful woodland grass, wood melick.Breeding wildfowl include mallard, moorhen, Canada goose and great crested grebe.Facilities
