Description
Wildlife
The very wide variety of trees, both native and exotic, recalls an arboretum. A stand of large pines gives shelter for birds such as goldcrest and coal tit, which favour conifers. There are mixed hedgerows with trees around most of the park's perimeter, with rough grassland and occasional small scrubby copses. The artificial pond is popular with the bird-feeding public, to the benefit of mallards, geese and gulls.Facilities
