Wandsworth Park is an attractive and well-used formal park in an area otherwise lacking accessible wildlife sites.

Wildlife

Mature trees and dense shrubberies provide habitat for common birds, and the location beside the Thames attracts passing migrants as well as resident birds. Barges designed to accommodate a range of birds can be seen from the park. These are moored on the Thames and host additional bird species.
