Wildlife
The grassland is dominated by the introduced highland bent, the locally uncommon yellow oat-grass and supports good populations of common butterflies.Scrub of hawthorn, elder and bramble provides ideal nesting opportunities for birds. Of the mature trees, about a dozen or so are beech and one a holm oak.Facilities
