The Dell is a small area of sycamore woodland on the slopes of a steep ravine. There is a pond at the bottom of the slopes, on the site of an old mill. An adjacent area of oak woodland, part of the grounds of St Andrews Church, is also included in the site.

Description
Wildlife
The site comprises sycamore woodland with some ash. The understorey is made up of saplings of wild cherry, sycamore, holly, elm, hawthorn, elder and bramble. The ground layer is dominated by ivy with cow parsley also present. The oak woodland that forms part of the church ground has little shrub layer and a sparse ground flora.Facilities
