Opened in 1889, this private cemetery has recently seen a return to positive management after a long period of neglect. Dense areas of shrubs and trees make an excellent area for wildlife.

Wildlife
The cemetery has substantial areas of dense scrub and rough grassland, with numerous mature trees, making this one of the best sites for birds in Newham borough. Breeding species have included lesser redpoll, bullfinch, reed bunting, cuckoo, lesser whitethroat, chiffchaff, willow warbler and blackcap, although not all of these nest here every year. The site also supports three species of reptiles, and a good range of mammals including weasel and bank vole.Facilities
