The park is bordered by yew and maigrun hedges and includes a Green Dock', a sunken garden running diagonally through the park providing a sheltered area for a variety of plants and wildlife. The park is tended to provide a welcome habitat for birds and insects, including Adonis' ladybird and the large yellow-faced bee.Facilities
