Description
Wildlife
West Ham Cemetery has plenty of mature trees, mostly limes but also pedunculate and holm oaks, sycamore, ash and several types of conifer. These provide habitat for a good range of common birds. The grassland beneath the trees is kept tidy, but not over-manicured, allowing a fair diversity of wildflowers to grow. These include oxeye daisy, black medick, white campion and sheep's sorrel, the latter suggesting acid soils.Facilities
