This attractive on the west side of Warner Place was improved in the late 1980s, following consultation with local people. Although it is a relatively formal area, with mown grass and shrub beds, the opportunity has been taken to use a high proportion of trees and shrubs which are native to Britain, and to plant these in dense high banks. Access to the site is open off Hackney Road to the north and Durant Square to the south. A cycle path runs through the site parallel to the footpath.

Description
Wildlife
This small park divided into two by a dense belt of shrubs, which includes a wide range of native and ornamental species. This provides nest sites for common birds, and is used for roosting by a sizeable population of house sparrows. The larger eastern part of the park is amenity grassland with scattered trees. A good range of native trees, including a black poplar, was planted here in 2019. The secluded western section of the park has been turned into wildflower meadows and an orchard. The meadow includes colourful wildflowers such as such as black knapweed, birdsfoot-trefoil, lady's bedstraw and chicory, with fruit trees over about half its area.Facilities
